Device drivers

The following table contains links for downloading device drivers for Windows which habe been tested with BioIDENTICA. We discourage from using older or newer device drivers from manufacturer sites or driver CDs since this does not guarantee proper cooperation with our software! This may also affect the drivers from this page, if you are using an older or newer Fapi version as indicated.

Upgrades for your ID Device software (e.g., logon software for Siemens ID Mouse) can be found here.

Installation

Do never connect Cross Match Verifier 300/310 scanners before you have executed the driver setup! Please pay attention for the hints contained in the download file.

For all other devices please execute the following installation steps under Windows XP:

•	Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a folder of your choice
•	Connect the sensor device to the USB port
•	Follow the installation instructions of the automatically starting installation routine, do not use "Windows Update" and select the option for a specific driver location
•	Select the folder to which you have extracted the ZIP file or a corresponding subfolder
•	Disregard Windows messages about uncertified drivers
